Thanks, Stuart and Patricia, for the great service and beautiful jewelry. Over the last year, I've bought two pair of earrings and sent an opal ring (purchased elsewhere) to the Birds for repair. The stones, the jewelry and the repair work all exceeded my expectations. I found the colors in the catalog to be very accurate, which helped me match the stones. The service is friendly, communication with the Birds is very timely and shipping is quicker than expected. I'll be back for more.

What a pleasure to take a sticky beak at Coober Pedy style mining and life. I know what it takes to stop and make the effort to photograph and journal what you do while you are doing it. You are recording opal history. I wish you luck in finding heaps this year.

On time and as Advertised!On Time and As Advertised! I ordered a pearl necklace with a drop opal. It was very important that the colors in the opal matched the colors of my wife's dress for our daughter's wedding in a couple of weeks. We ordered based on photographs and were very happy with the results. I expidited shipping to ensure we received the order on time... ordered Monday evening -- US Central Time, sometimes Tuesday Australia time -- and I got notice from the post office the following Satuday that the package was being held for pickup. Faster than I expected! I will order from Stuart again if I need a similar item.
