14K gold opal pendant, set within prongs is a single carved piece of skin to skin crystal opal that its 12x7 mm in size and cut in a Freeform shape, it is part of a pipe (belemnite) weighs 1.15 cts, this opal was cut in 1990 so is very stable, the setting is an excellent and unusual design with a diamond set just under the bail and that suits the opal the opal is set within two prongs and one blade prong at the top, excellent setting that allows the opal to show itself off, a beautiful little eye catcher, the opal is seen at its best with some movement as all opals do, the play of color within this opal has to be seen in real life to be fully appreciated.
