Excellent Opal Pendant with a piece of crystal opal that is skin to skin, its 11.8 x 6.5 mm in size and weighs 1.3 cts, set in a solid 14K yellow gold setting that acts like a pendulum that lets the opal do the talking, the opal is within blade prongs (as there are called) the setting has a small 1 1/2 point diamond as can be seen in the full photo below, excellent setting that allows the opal to move around and show its colors off, a nice little eye catcher, this really is a nice stone with lots of fire and shows it colors off best with some movement as all opals do, the play of color within this opal has to be seen in real life to be fully appreciated, the color rolls across the stone as it moves like a rolling flash.
