Nice little piece of Carved Opal in the shape of an Indian Chief's Head, the carving is out of a low quality gray opal, the carving itself is 14.4 mm high by 12.9mm wide and was carved by a local here in Coober Pedy, glued onto a black glass backing and a rubbed over setting in Sterling Silver, the pendant is supplied with a Leather Thong, but can be used with silver chain if you wish. The play of color within the opal is not bad for the quality of the opal and really has a lot of FIRE present with any movement. This Opal Pendant is shipped within a velvet Jewelry Box along with a Leather Thong for presenting as a gift or present to that someone special.
