Good quality gray opal, wire wrapped in 14k gold filled wire and set in claws, this large piece of opal has quite a lot of colors and Fire, plus a lot of sparkle to it, the play of color (link below) is excellent within the opal and has to be seen in real life to be fully appreciated, the photos do not do it justice as they cannot show you the richness and depth this stone has to offer, this is a one and only piece and was found, cut, polished and wire wrapped by me Stuart Bird, the buyer will not send this back after viewing it in real life. The play of color within the opal is Superb and really has a lot of FIRE present with any movement and is attractively wire wrapped with 14k gold filled wire (vermeil) and held in with single prongs.
