Nice little piece of wire wrapped jewelry that has a solid low quality gray stone, the opal looks like Pinfire and is mixed with some white potch, the main reason that it is low quality, lots of sparkle and Pink Fire to this little opal gem stone and as with all opals is best seen with movement to get the full affect of the fire that is present, would make a nice cheap present to a daughter or granddaughter for there birthday or at Xmas. The Fire is plentiful in this opal stone and the play of color within this gemstone has to be seen in real life with movement to be fully appreciated as the photos do not do it full justice, they cannot show you the richness and depth this stone has to offer which can only be appreciated with movement, this is a one and only, the opal and was found, cut, polished and wire wrapped by me Stuart Bird. The play of color within the opal is Excellent for the quality plus this is a GENUINE SOLID OPAL, 1.93 cts in weight and is attractively wire wrapped with 14k gold filled wire (vermeil) and held in with single prongs.
