A nice piece of unique opal inlay wire wrap jewelry, made up with a velvet obsidian that has blue, burgundy & brown colors in a swirl affect & has a mottled "Tortoiseshell" look about it. there is one large excellent piece of multi colored opal with plenty of Fire, that makes a very nice combination and the play of color within the inlaid opal jewelry is really excellent, the photos cannot show you the full depth or richness in the colors in either the opal or the obsidian, it has a highly polished surface although it does not look like it in the photos, this is a one and only piece and the opal was found, cut, polished, inlaid and wire wrapped by me Stuart Bird.

The play of color within the opal is really Superb plus this is GENUINE OPAL used in this Inlay Piece, it is a large item and will be an eye catcher for sure, attractively wire wrapped in 14k gold filled wire (vermeil) and is held within prongs. (claws) Read about Gold Filled Wire Here.
