This piece of opal inlay wire wrap jewelry is made with velvet obsidian that is burgundy/green in color with a swirl affect to it and has a mottled "Tortoiseshell" look about it, the obsidian has one large piece of very good quality multi colored opal, inlaid across the middle of the stone, a very nice combination it has a highly polished surface although it does not look like it in the photos, this is a one and only piece and was found, cut, polished and wire wrapped by me Stuart Bird.

The play of color within the opals is Superb plus this is GENUINE OPAL used in this Inlay Piece, it is a large item and will be an eye catcher for sure, attractively wire wrapped in 14k gold filled wire (vermeil) and is held within prongs. (claws) Read about Gold Filled Wire Here.
