All of our opal rough is sold in Troy Ounces, there are 20 pennyweights and 31.103 grams to the ounce, 5 carats in a gram and 155.1 cts to the Ounce.

Large parcel of beginners opal that is just the thing for the beginner or learner to start on, with some small & large, thick
and thin pieces to start practicing cutting with, this parcel has not been picked over, this it is a mine run parcel and would suit
a Reseller or a Lapidary Club, every stone has some type of color in it & should be able to cut a quite few nice stones out of
this parcel, to get the best out of some they will need to done with a Dremel or the like, good value for the Price.
The photo's that you see here only represent about half of the parcel that is on the right and here are some very nice colors in here,
the buyer should be pleased with this lot.

better in real life, Please remember that these opals are blown up so you can see right into them and the camera picks everything
at close rage, more then the human eye can.

The Coin is a USA 25¢ Piece, it will give you some idea of the size of the opal pieces, the photo's will give you
some idea of the color of the opal, but it will always be better in real life when seen with the naked eye under natural light,
