This very Attractive opal stone is a doublet that has a boulder ironstone backing, we call them boulder doublets. It is made with a
very excellent quality dark green blue opal, with a bit of orange thrown in it. The
play of color within the opal
is really excellent, and as with all opals it is a one of a kind and really is shown off best with some movement.
This opal doublet, will make a very attractive piece of opal jewelry, as the opal color is directional it will have to made into a pendant in a
bezel setting or within a prong setting. (claws)
