| These Inlay/Mosaic Opal pieces are made by me Stuart Bird, there are unusual opal pieces that you will not find anywhere else on the net or i any opal shops for that matter, some are made from opal and Velvet Obsidian which is made of silica same as opal is is very good match, beautiful stuff has its own colors just like opal, some are made with Boulder Ironstone, the same stuff that Bolder Opal is found in, so again this is a good mate for our opal and the other item I use is Australian Black Jade, hard as nails, some real nice shapes and all of the opal used is of a high quality and really sparkles with lots of fire from all angles, sometimes hard to see in my photos, but all will make terrific opal jewelry for that One of a Kind piece that no one else has and that is what opal is all about, having something that no one else has. |
