This Carved opal stone is a skin shell, that is multi colored and a semi crystal opal, it is part of a Opalized baby mussel shell, as the photo shows, it has the colors of a kaleidoscope and the rainbow all in one, the play of color within the opal stone is excellent.

This opal shell is to thin to be made into a opal ring, but it is ideal for a small pendant which will have to be set within prongs. (claws)
